Purpose of Cell Groups
We are a church that values relationships and believe that relationships are most meaningfully developed in small group settings. As such, cell groups are an integral part of our church life. These groups allow a growing church to retain the feel of a close-knit family where you are known personally.
Cell groups can also be a place where our friends, neighbors and family who do not attend Living Word Christian Fellowship, can explore questions of faith in a non-threatening setting.

The mission of the cell ministry is to create small group environments where people move toward God as they build relationships.
Values
The cell group ministry operates under the mission, beliefs, and values of LWCF. Within the context of our ministry we will specifically express the values of:
Transformed Lives -- We believe in faith that God will transform lives. Our groups will foster personal growth: from unbelief to salvation, to discipleship, and maturity in Christ.
Diversity -- Collectively, our small group environments will seek to include a diversity of formats, types, and venues to make a place for the diversity of people God has set in our community.
Word of God -- The Word of God is the source of all truth and the cornerstone of every work we do.
Pastoral Care -- We will provide an environment where pastoral care can be expressed in a natural and safe manner by good shepherd-leaders.
Community -- We will foster the development of biblical community where people are welcomed in to experience friendship, mutual encouragement and service to one another.
Safety -- We will respect and honor the value of every individual and foster environments that encourage openness and vulnerability while providing protection for all members.
Authenticity -- We will make room for and love people as they are, while calling them into an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
